Orchestrations from Hollow Knight paired with Shostakovich’s Piano Trio No. 2. While sharing a similar grit due to its setting in the ruins of a fallen kingdom, the former adds a levity that balances the gravitas of Shostakovich’s writing.

The orchestrations of Journey sway between the thrill of adventure and deep introspection. Mirage’s program was filled with pieces that capture the same: Barber’s Adagio, Jenkins’ Palladio, and the chilled beat of Woolf’s Native Tongues for beatbox flute and strings.
